Programs
During MLE DAC meetings MLE parents and guardians:
Learn about their rights and responsibilities and how to best advocate for their students. MLE parents are able to create positive change in their school and the district by being a voice for Multilingual Learners.
Receive valuable information and tools to help support their children’s success at school and at home.
Receive tools to share information from the DAC with their school principal, MLE Parent Advisory Committee (PAC), CSC/school governance council and other MLE families.
Some MLE DAC meetings include resource fairs attended by community and district organizations.
Free interpretation, on-site child care and refreshments are provided for in-person sessions.
MLE DAC Parent Meeting, October 25, 2023 @ Kepner Beacon MS
Please join DPS for the Multilingual Education Districtwide Advisory Committee (MLE DAC) meeting on Wednesday, October 25, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m.
The meeting will be in-person at Kepner Beacon Middle School, located at 911 S. Hazel Ct.
This month our focus will be Family Mental Health. Please join us for a special presentation by Dr. Omar Reda, plus resources for mental health and wellness.

MLE DAC Parent Meeting, Sept. 20, 2023 @ Bruce Randolph HS
Please join DPS for the Multilingual Education Districtwide Advisory Committee (MLE DAC) meeting on Wednesday, September 20, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The meeting will be in-person at Bruce Randolph High School, located at 3955 Steele St.
We are kicking off the new school year with a Parent Academy with information on DPS programs, assessments, and your rights as parents.
